Preservation of Ancient Trees and Rare Hyrcanian Species in Gisoum Village
During recent field visits to the ancient trees and unique Hyrcanian species within the area of Gisoum Village, emphasis was placed on the importance of identifying, documenting, and preserving these valuable genetic reserves. These rare natural habitats not only play a significant role in maintaining the ecological sustainability of the region, but also represent an essential part of the natural heritage and identity of the tourist village of Gisoum.
The protection and conservation of these invaluable resources hold a special place within the village’s sustainable development plans and its World Heritage registration process.
