Visit of the Talesh Cultural Heritage Director to Gisoum Village

In line with assessing cultural capacities and following up on the World Heritage registration process of Gisoum Village, the Head of the Cultural Heritage Department of Talesh County met with the respected residents of the village to gain direct insight into their perspectives and local concerns. During the visit, the official attended several residents’ homes, where sincere and constructive discussions were held regarding the significance of preserving and internationally recognizing Gisoum Village.

During these meetings, emphasis was placed on the vital role of the residents of Gisoum in safeguarding the village’s indigenous identity, protecting its cultural heritage, and enhancing its tourism standing. Such interactions are considered an effective step toward strengthening cooperation, raising public awareness, and advancing the village’s cultural and developmental objectives.
